Surprise Visit from Paul Healy

Paul Healy (Director of Children's Shelter of Cebu) came to visit us this week. (CSC is the orphanage where Ashley and Emily lived for two years). Paul is in the states for a few weeks taking care of ministry related business. He wanted to see firsthand how the girls were doing since leaving CSC 9 months ago.
It was refreshing to hear his perspective on how far the twins have come since then. We took some video footage of the girls, and I do have to say both LaNae and are encouraged after taking a step back to see what God has done over a nine month period.

It's hard to imagine where our girls would be without the ministry of CSC...

Thanks, Paul for stopping by...

I am so encouraged after watching this. I just don't get to be in your home often enough to see this side of the girls. You are doing a great job with them. Paul must have been overwhelmed with their progress. He has seen them at their worst....and now to see them at their best must have blessed his socks off! We love you all....

So cool! It is amazing what they've learned in 9 months!

So cool! This was a great encouragement for me right now...as we are in the process of finding out some hard things regarding our youngest, Miles. He very likely has some huge (as in 'messed up' chromosomes) barriers in his language development and I'm rapidly increasing the # of signs we're using with him to help him bridge the ever widening gap. Just seeing some practical ways that you teach sign to the girls via books is really helpful. Thanks Lanae!

Wow. Thanks for sharing this. It's so neat to see what they've learned. How blessed they are to be a part of the Sanchez family and we know you're so blessed as well. Can't wait to meet those girls one of these days!
