After reading an article on snowshoeing a couple years ago, I told Roland that I wanted to give it a try. It seemed like a fun family activity now that the kids are a little older. So we figured Leavenworth was a great place to try it out....and the verdict is in.... we all loved it! I admit I didn't know what to expect, but essentially the snowshoes just allow you to hike in the snow. We drove outside of town about 10 miles and hiked down by a river in a couple feet of snow. It was beautiful! We can't wait to do it again.

That's awesome that you guys had the opportunity to go snowshoeing... I'm a fellow fan of it as well, it's a pretty good workout.
